Very proud of myself today: I have had a fully painted 1912-1913 Serbian army for a couple of years, based on naked Warbases. It has seen action but I had never got round to finishing it. Yesterday I finally made the effort and spent a happy couple of hours carefully flocking them. Great improvement - amazing how nice basing always makes figures stand out so beautifully.
I shall have to fight some more Balkan Wars action again soon - and give my similarly unfinished Greek army the same treatment!

Nice one Chris
I can't find the piccies of them. :(
(But then, I am fairly hopeless at finding my way around sites) =)
Cheers - Phil
Nice when that happens Chris :). Any chance of some pics?
I too was unable to find the piccies, but did come across some of Dave Fielder's 1912 Greeks and Napoleonic French and Prussians.
As the Social Media teams always say: "no picture, no story".
I notice the BBB Yahoo site has been very temperamental with images loaded into the Photo Albums recently, I'm hoping that is just a glitch. Anyone else had any problems? I'm working on 6mm Turks at the moment to play Balkans and Crimean scenarios, so would be good to know if these images can be shared.
Ah, sorry to disappoint ... I haven't actually taken any pics yet ...
Made a start on the Greeks as well this morning. Should finish those tonight. Maybe then I will parade them and post piccies. Thanks for the motivational replies!

Amazing what a difference a bit of flock makes.
(I didn't paint the figures, so any compliments should be directed towards Irregular Miniatures painting service.)
Now I just need to schedule some more Bloody Big Balkan Battles:

They look effective Chris and flock does make a big difference as you say.
A really interesting period and the weaponry is quite shocking for us Horse and Musket experts! New fangled magazines and steel guns ... whatever next.
Good Show!
