You should come here more often.
Accepting pledges for next year's trip to Italy and Spain....Get in at ground level with this kickstarter!
It sounds as though a lot of the UK is going to be sweltering, in the next few days......and in certain parts of mainland Europe it's going to be unbearable !! :o
Cheers - Phil
But - it will be raining in Wales !
......and Merseyside according to this morning's forecast :d
Not out of my windows, but yes probably late morning after the post arrives.
The only things in the sky here, at the mo', are a couple of contrails.....A very bright yellow/white ball....and an awful lot of blue.
Gad....The heat !!
Cheers - Phil
Blue? Still grey here in the West of Scotland. :(
Gaming here in Edinburgh.

What's the reward for a $10 pledge?
I dread to think. X_X
Cheers - Phil ;)
A personalised message thread, two degrees up on the thermometer for quarter of an hour, and all the little bits of lead connecting equine tummies to their bases you can eat.

Thankfully blue and warm over the latter part of the afternoon now. :)

Damn autocorrect.
Baking, baking.
Its all right for you lot, I am on nights. You try sleeping during the day in this, and getting enough sleep to concentrate during a 12 hour night shift (cue violins)
Warm and very humid here in Bristol. Currently 27 degrees in the hallway, but been much warmer all day. Apparently felt more like 35 degrees, with Thursday feeling like 38; luckily having lived in Nigeria I don't find it too bad.

I did wonder. ;D ;D ;D
Very warm and cloudy here, this morning......With the sun supposed to come out later in the morning.
I think it's just going to be horribly hot and humid.
It certainly brought the clegs (horseflies) out yesterday.
Von got bitten twice....But fortunately didn't get too much of a reaction on her skin.
I got bitten once, on the back of my hand, and I
did get a reaction.
Hateful little beasts !!! >:(
Cheers - Frodo of the fat knuckle. =)
We had some tremendous lightening storms last night, with some thunder (got woken by what I can only call an explosive clap of thunder) and not much rain. Slept OK but very humid this morning on the cycle into work at 6.30am.
Big lightning strike up the road from me, woke up the whole family, sleep is an optional extra in this household....
😴
Edit - my eldest, always a heavy sleeper, this morning "Was there a storm?"
We were supposed to get all that - yellow weather alerts, doom, gloom, apocalypse now, etc - but seems to have passed around us. :)
Yesterday it made me feel exhausted and decidedly unwell, despite rehydrating all the time. Took dog out earlier and now starting to feel like I did yesterday.
Know just what you mean, Andy.
Even a complete ectomorph like yours truly, finds this really horrible.
It feels almost airless, when it's as 'close' as this.....Even seems a slight struggle to breathe properly. (Moan whinge, moan , moan) =)
I'm hoping that we might get a damn good thunderstorm, to 'clear the air'....really soon !
Cheers - Mr I. M. Too-Hot.
Gaming seems somehow more appropriate ! Heavy rain last night, but dry now. Hot and sticky
I must have slept like the dead Steve ... unless that thunderstorm was confined to your part of Bristol ? I didn't hear a thing! Just woke up and it was damp and a lot cooler.
Personally I like hot weather - as long as work doesn't drag me into London ... that is torture! :'(

Seemed to be a lot of lightning flashes, but not very much thunder, which I found odd. Did have big crack and a couple of rumbles from further off but it was mostly silent.
I prefer Paris in the winter, when it drizzles. Sorry, Mr Porter.
Thunder last night, slightly cooler and more bearable than yesterday. Two large fans going in the club made today's game enjoyable. this was a Japanese v Korean FOGR which we will be putting on at Colours. To be completed next week.
Current temperature similar to where I lived in Kaduna, Nigeria, in the 1990's. The only difference is it is way more humid over there, which really, really makes it feel way hotter!

That's quite old weather then?
We'd better have a head count to see if anyone's melted.
Particularly pleasant here in the Preselis.
Hot....But with a particularly nice breeze that's taking the real edge off the furnace, that a lot of other places in the UK seem to be struggling with.
Only thing that's been a pain, for me, is that the heat keeps aggravating the hand 'what that barsteward horsefly bit'...and I have to keep sticking said hand in cold water, to stop the itching.
The cold water 'don't half help', though. :)
Trust none of you lot have been trapped on trains, or in traffic jams.....Some of the stories I've been listening to on the radio........ :o :o :o :o......AAARGH !!
Cheers - Itchy & Scratchy.
Still here, but the weather's more like A Malaysian hill station than Glasgow.
I've been splitting my time between gardening* and watching the Tour de France on the box.
Tour was extremely exciting (It's been a good tour in general with plenty of contenders remaining into the final week).
Garden was also pleasant in short bursts, got a lot done.
* Gardening today included priming most of the scenic items I purchased at the Glasgow Games Gathering.
That rattlecan paint doesn't half dry quick in the heat.
Spent the day relaxing as too hot to do much else. Started cooling down a tad and looking forward to it being 10 degrees cooler.
Too hot here to do anything after about 10am. No painting today (or yesterday) but great for catching up on info about our new PM, Charlie Carroli :O), and his gang of self-destructors, and also reading - Chris Ryan setting a couple of ex-SAS chaps on a mission to gather the dirt on someone who is clearly Nigel Farage busily betraying the country to the Russians via Brexit. Oh how we laughed!!!! ~X(
We were eagerly anticipating enjoying the nudist area in the Bois de Vincennes. What do you know, there's nowhere to swim! After ten minutes lying naked on the lawn, you start to wonder if you're making optimal use of your holiday....
Here's a tip. If it says "bois" - avoid. If it has "plage" or "lac" in the name - go. :P

Did some "gardening" myself today - gloss varnishing of 8 pikemen dried in half the time, magnetised mdf bases, Super Glue worked first time for a change when basing them and Milliput base texturing set much quicker. Could have gone on to add sand and grass but BBQ had to be lit and wine had to be drunk. I think I could get used to modelling under the parasol on the garden table. :-bd

There are plenty of little lakes there, but only for the textiles! :'(
Ahem.
There's some wet stuff dropping from the sky, at the mo'.
It can't be rain, because I've just checked on Auntie's weather maps, and it says we currently have a 0% chance of 'precipitation'.
Shome mishtake shuuurly.
Cheers - Phil ;)

Given the false-positive precipitation caused by flying ants the other week, anything's possible... 8-}
Phil it be draught Guinness - get out and drinkin
Awwwww.....Ian.
I should have picked this up sooner.
It's stopped now. (Bloody typical !)
