p.s. I'm not. ~X( I only got 34 out of 40 correct. :-[
32/40 :-[
32/40 - thought it was definite US biased
38/40 ... pity I've never been able to use this knowledge in a more profitable way! :(
38/40 Never heard of Chesty Puller, and made the wrong choice between Nimitz and Spruance!
36/40 so not too bad!
I don't think I'll even bother.
I don't want to show you lot up. =O =O =O
Gimme a clue.
Are there ANY that I might get right ?
Cheers - Phil
38/40 too many Americans - guessed wrong on Chesty Puller, and never heard of that WW1 'father of the air force' chap!
and absolutely the worst picture of Hannibal ever
38/40 - got Pizzaro and Cortes the wrong way round ... you'd think having got one wrong I'd get the other!
Got lucky on a number of best guesses.
Several of the images seemed positively bizarre as illustrations of pre-photography characters.
Rather US centric too.
35/40 Over thought a couple of them. Still thought that was Marcus Agrippa! ;D

Don't worry, Paul.
I got less than that.
Cheers - Phil
35 and the only ones I got wrong were German or Americans...
34... 20th century American military history isn't really my forte...
Half the battle is dodging the adverts on that page!
37 - and one of my mistakes was clicking on Duke of Normandy before noticing it was Robert.
34...
32/40.
A lot of 'guess between these two", and guessed wrong ;D
Same here ;D
37/40, but then I am much much more intelligent that the rest of you, and more modest as well ;) ;) ;) ;)

Pictures were mostly rubbish! The clues gave them away for me. I got Puller and Basilone mixed up and then Cortez and Pizarro- but only once. That's time I'll never get back. :(
Well....
I know history (sadly) is not my strong point.
But there were quite a few that I felt that I really should have known.....Especially some of the WWII questions...But there were some folk that I've never heard of...even there.
I've mentioned before. I thought I had a reasonable knowledge regarding WWII.....A 'decent' pass at GCSE, perhaps ?...(Dream on, Phil.)
That's before I saw how much you chaps know......And from some of the old progs that have re-runs on the TV, at the mo'.
I definitely deserve the wooden spoon.
(And at the end, I got the comment...."You must be a history buff." X_X....I'd love to know the flattering comments you guys got with your scores, if I got that for 26.)
Cheers - Mr Dunce.
39/40 and only because i opted for Cortez instead of Pizzaro in the question
You scored 34 out of 40 "Wow! You may want to look into a career in the military if you haven't already!"
;D ;D ;D
;D ;D ;D ;D
