You may have already seen but Google Street View (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=kew+gardens+london&sll=53.477792,-2.255495&sspn=0.005638,0.008175&ie=UTF8&t=h&layer=c&cbll=51.47983,-0.292375&panoid=aialyPX0AlmltI5IMKqhdw&cbp=12,174.41,,0,5&hq=Kew+Gardens&hnear=Kew+Gardens,+London,+UK&ll=51.479833,-0.292382&spn=0,359.94082&z=15&utm_campaign=en_GB&utm_medium=lp&utm_source=en_GB-lp-emea-gb-gns-svn&utm_term={keyword}) is now available for most of the UK.
Its pretty cool/unnerving seeing your own home on Google.

Is Great Ayton on there?
I'm just glad they picked a day when the grass was short and the garbage was out back, or I would never hear the end of it.
It was great when I was traveling in the fall, just to get a feel for for what my destination was like. It was also neat to be able to "virtually visit" the WWI cemetery in France where one of my Grandfather's cousins is buried; it is unlikely that I will get there in person.
