Looking at my faceache feeds, lots more Liverpool fans appear to be celebrating than Spurs fans.
Maybe the Spurs fans are quieter because they are more hungover.
Champions League is the "norm" for Liverpool (they were in last years final after all)....I guess for Spurs fans like me the win over Ajax is still sinking in and its totally new ground for the club, being their first time at the "top table"....I know a couple of Liverpool and Man City supporters at work and they were speechless after hearing the result. I've waited a LONG time for this result, but it finally happened :-bd <:-P :)

They probably fancy their chances more against Spurs, than they would have against Ajax.
Still....Both teams turned in quite
remarkable results in the semi's. :o

Maybe in previous seasons Spurs have been a bit fragile and have folded late on in the season but I really think have found the hunger to win and a stronger mental toughness this year. They won't lay down easily...as was shown by their 95th minute winner today.
I'd agree with one of the BBC commentators who reckoned that no matter what the outcome of all this football was the winner......sometimes Bobbie Charlton's "beautiful game" does emerge, though much has changed since 1966 and all that ;)
Everton! Everton! Everton! ;D
Tranmere, Tranmere, Tranmere......
;D ;D ;D ;D
Shrewsbury, Shrewsbury...
Oh...
Congrats to both Liverpool and Spurs.
But . . .
I am getting a bit fed up of the British media crowing about an all-English final.
Really? How many English players will play in that? 6, maybe? Is either manager English? Are Liverpool English-owned?
Sorry, but this really grinds my gears.
And it will only get worse is Arsenal & Chelsea reach the other final.
I don't know anyone who supports Liverpool and whoever the other team was.
I knew someone at work who followed East Ham or something like that.
Can we get back to toy soldiers please.

Well, this is in the
Non-Wargaming - Chat & News - Sport section of the forum. Not sure what else we're supposed to talk about in here?
Weather's been grim... ;)

Having worked in IT since before it was called IT I declined to watch any so-called comedy based on IT.
Besides toy soldiers are much more fun.
Definitely an IT response. I have some toy soldiers. They can be found in many of the other areas of this forum. All England finalS - bugger! Somehow I feel the Brexit brigade will latch on to that and make a big thing of it, despite the fact that most of the players are not British.
Look on the bright side. At least two 'English' teams are not going to win.
