Title: What do you use for 10mm dirt roads?

I’m beginning to look for terrain for my 10mm ACW project and I was wondering what my fellow wargamers use for dirt roads. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sand or pale grey painted card, with sand/flock verges.

Try strips of painted sandpaper, shops like Wilkinsons sell 5 sheet packs quite cheap. Glue to card to give a bit of solidity to it.

We have been using a suede material cut to various lenghths and curves etc.
