Managed to get a game of BKC IV using relatively small forces to get a feel for the new rules. I look forward to playing with more specialised units. There are a couple of rule queries that I will post in that section of the forum.

It is also worth saying that it was a very enjoyable game.

A nice simple game, reminded me of the early days of WW2 gaming. Great report on the rules.
I echo Dave's comments. We're having our first outing with the rules this Wednesday :).
Yeah it was a fairly simple game. Will definitely use artillery in the next game to get to grips with it and maybe a few other more advanced components.
Glad you are having fun
If you have any queries about how assaults work, do just shout, but it sounds as if you got it right. Suppressed armour attacked by a number of infantry units is usually in trouble, particularly if not very heavily supported.
Cheers

Yes thoroughly enjoying it.
The confusion around close assault was my own doing. In my head I couldn't work out how infantry could fight armour when they didn't have an AT value. After a lot of head scratching and reading I remembered that units have a close assault value. Hopefully won't make that mistake again :D
Nice report ! :)
