Title: WW1 Anzac Miniatures
Post by: cardophillipo on 07 April 2019, 05:16:35 PM
Does anyone know if the WW1 Anzac figures have one side of their slouch hats turned up. Looking for something to represent Assyrian Levies Battalion at Habbinaya 1941.

Cheers

Some are and some aren't.....

Here's a link to some pictures of NZ (dis)mounted rifle units in slouch hats that PaulR did a few years ago:

And some British infantry:

Hope thats of some help.

I actually used very few of the AN1 Infantry, slouch hat, shirt figures

I've checked my notes and there are 8 of them scattered among 40 ME4 Dismounted Australian cavalry and 9 ME22 Imperial Lewis gunners in my dismounted Brigade

They are the ones in light blue shirts (not holding Lewis guns), the hats are not turned up
