Had the 'bright' idea of making a start on a HOTT army for Isengard. These are 1/72 plastic figures, however the demons are 60mm tall and the trolls 50mm:

With these and some warg riders and a magician already done, just a few infantry to complete it.

Cheers, yeah that's them.  Trolls are amazing value at eight in the box.

I'm guessing Red Box changed all the names to avoid copyright issues, e.g. Fire Demons, War Trolls, Half Orcs.  Oddly they kept Warg; however it seems that this is a term from Norse mythology so is outwith intellectual copyright.  As Walter Scott had it, "What a tangled web we weave..."
