Title: New Greeks and Persians
Post by: Fenton on 09 January 2019, 05:41:07 PM
I know on another thread it was  said the new Greek range would be released first in 2019 but if I may annoy Leon for a minute does he know how soon?

Cheers

Awww! I thought there would be pictures!  >:(

I really need another project - I'm down to just 4 active ones at the moment.

You'll want the 'Plans for 2019' for that: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,18124.0.html  The Greeks/Persians are going to be after the 1809 Naps, Indian Mutiny and Dacians/Sarmatians, so not quite first!

The Greek sculpts only arrived with us today, so not had chance to photo them yet.  I'll see if I can get them done at the weekend.  We'll need to get the Persian sculpting list done next and over to Phil to work on through March/April.

You are most kind.

So I just need to finish off the WWI in East Africa (sparked off by giraffes), get back to Korea (so much to do there ... not got any Yanks or Winter yet), and the tiny Pacific War aeroplanes ... then the not-kickstarter Napoleonics ... and I suppose there will be some more TB line coming out - 'cos I really need some men at arms ... then pick off some minor things like the V1, got to have some pirates, Italian artillery WWII ... and the modern stuff ... though I may have to find a war to field them in ... and hope I don't get sucked in by the Samurai (though there is every possibility) ...

By that time I'll be ready for the Greeks!

Persians - not so much. I'll be consulting Thucydides more than Herodotus.

Ah well. Retirement can be put off for another year.
