Hi All,
In the latest "Blitzkrieg" book for Chain of Command, there are rules for civilians. I am looking for some unarmed civilians. I have found CP models which are nice but seem slightly elongated - unless this is the photography, and Sergeants mess who have a limited range. Does anyone know of other manufacturers as a search on Google is not forthcoming.
I am trying to avoid the Railway stuff as most are smaller than my 20mm/1/72 stuff

Blitz / battlefield miniatures make refugees:

Can't help with figure sourcing sorry but interested to hear your opinion of the TFL Blitzkreig sourcebook....from the blurb about it seems to be packed with a sorts of info.
Worth picking up a pdf copy if looking at playing 10mm 1940 CoC games at some stage?
Seems good value for 14 quid given that it covers the whole campaign.

Hello Orcs
Have you looked at Preiser and Dapol plastic figures, Here are the reviews from The Plastic Soldier Review which give the height of the figures:-

To my eye the Dapol (ex_Airfix) look better to be able to blend in with 20mm metal and they are cheaper and easier to get.
Anyway just a thought.

Yes its an excellent book certainly worth buying in either format. I obtained both for £24 as a pre-order special.
Quick points
Overview of the war in the west
Numerous extra lists for all Western Armies including:-
Mountain troops,
Fallshirmjager
Bicycle troops
Dragons Porte
Colonial Troops
British Motor Infantry Platoon
Cavalry Platoons
Italians invading the south of France
These list then have differing support lists to fit in with both the type of troops and how they were used., including Allied Supports
Rulles for:
Assault boats
Glider landings
Air support
Elite units gain extra command dice
Specific Rules for differing nationalities.
Plus a whole lot more. If you use Chain of Command and are into Early War , This is a must. I am just hoping tey bring one out for the Polish and Early Russian Campaign
