Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for a good book or 2 on warfare during the AWI - any suggestions gratefully received. I'm really looking at how the fighting was done so tactics, operational considerations, that sort of thing rather than a simple account of events.
Many thanks,
Richard
With Zeal and With Bayonets Only by Matthew Spring and, my favourite, Fusiliers by Mark Urban.
A Devil of a Whipping: The Battle of Cowpens by Lawrence E Babits - lots of maps and tactical considerations, with a tight focus.

The Military Experience in the Age of Reason by Duffy, if you haven't read it already.
