While we're working on Kickstarter, not-Kickstarters, BKC-IV and more, we've still found a bit of time to tick off some of our Top 10 Requests! This month we've had the designer working on a few revamps and requests so we'll have these moulded and ready to release soon.
First up we've got a couple of Marlburian revamps. The current command, artillery crew and cuirassiers are older sculpts than the rest of the range so they've needed a bit of upgrading for a while now. These new ones are much better sculpts and will match in with the other infantry/cavalry a lot better.

Next up we've got number 9 on the Top 10 requested items, with a new Vietnam radio op figure, along with a forward observer and medic to go with him!
Vietnam FOO / RTO / Medic

And finally, number 5 on the Top 10 requested items is Pirates! These are a bit of an experiment to see how much demand there is, as we know that a lot of people have asked about these over the years. We've tried to do them so that they'll fit into any slave revolt / mutiny scenarios as well, to give them a bit of broader appeal.

We'll get these into some moulds and should have them ready for release in the New Year.
8)
Love them, especially those pirates. 8)
AAARRRR!
Some of those chaps with arquebuses could do as Landsknechts.
When will the Marlburians be ready?

Pirates? Interesting. But, what's the one on the left holding in his right hand? And what's the one fourth from the left doing?
Cheers, M.

It'll be in the New Year I think, we've got the Indian Mutiny to get into moulds first so we'll squeeze these in before we hit the 1809 Naps moulding.

The left hand chap is the captain so that's his hat he's waving in the air. The 4th chap is kneeling with his cutlass on the floor.
I am very tempted by the Pirates
Take care
Andy
So when are you going to produce the naval gunners, truck guns, and a ship or two ?
Some nice things there, especially the pirates :)

No plans for ships, but we've got the naval guns in the SYW range already. I'm wondering whether the SYW generic crewmen (trousers, shirt, no headgear) might be passable as a stand-in?
Honest opinion - with waistcoats and gaiters? No. The ideal would be to have specifically attired seamen. Sorry. :(
(but the guns and existing crews can still currently be employed as fortress artillery :-bd )
I was thinking those guns but LOA24 and 25 for gunners.
But then I'm notoriously unfussed about the details of uniforms if everyone playing knows what's what.
Space Pirates!
Hello
How about the upcoming Scots gun crew as proxy pirates:-

Those are in production already so we can supply those if anyone needs any.
Shouldn't they be poxy pirates?
Eeh, poxy pirates; what's the resin for their production? ............... nah! I'll get my coat right away.
"I was thinking those guns but LOA24 and 25 for gunners."
The Golden Age of Piracy was said to be roughly 1650-1720, when you had Morgan, Kidd and Blackbeard. LOA24 and 25, and possibly gun crews from the ECW range, will give you Government gunners for the earlier part of the period, and the new sculpts will fit the later years.

I will be ordering these! The medic will fit nicely with the WW1 stretcher. The two command figures are ideal for Bush wars! :)

They were master moulded over the weekend so I'll be trying to fit them in towards the end of the month / early March.

Deal!
When will the pirates make it into production?
And I have a thread about finding proxy stuff maybe you could help me fill out a 10mm blood and plunder set?
http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,18283.0.html
Not sure at the moment, got a few things to catch up on and then we can get them into a mould.

Great idea with Malburians!
I would add to these:
- marching drummer
- marching officer
- properly marching standard bearer (like LoA - facing to the front, not side)
- 1-2 standing sergants with halbarde (animated poses - encouraging privates, dressing ranks, etc)
- 1-2 poses of marching sergants with halbarde (encouraging soldiers, etc)
And I will buy a lot of packs immediatelly !!! ;)
Any idea when the Pirates are up?
I want to order a few odds and sods, and have been hanging off :D

Join the queue. I have been playing with 1/600 to pass the time.....
Still not sure on that one, we're busy with 1809 Naps moulds so it'll be after Salute now.
Dang nab it!
As pirates have yet to go into production do you think you could make them have a standard base size and shape? I have been spending a whole lot of time basing my guys.

Afraid not on the base sizings, they've already been sculpted and moulded so it would be a whole lot of time at this stage to try and file all of the bases to the same size/shape.
Getcha clippers out boys, we've some trimming to do!
Standard bases proved unpopular in the request thread so no loss that the pirates are too far along.

Sounds like the tag line to a Western about barbers ...
or chiropodists. :-&
Howdy partner... don't push me, ah got the fastest shoe horn in the west... GO FER YER CALLOUS FILE!
It's got a bit "Crimson Pearl" here... bands of chiropodist-bandito's roaming the West, treating pirate callouses and corns...
I can see a new range request
Need to watch the Client Eastwood new sphagetti-Western-chiropodists
'A foot full of calluses'
'For a few calluses more' and
'The good, the bad and the one that went "wee, wee, wee" all the way home'
Oh no not again !!
What, you want a bowl of petunias as well?!
I'm not THAT big
