Title: 10mm buildings
Post by: ianjgow on 20 October 2018, 08:37:39 PM
Last Colours I bought some great 6mm buildings from the Square and other places (labels said Xyston but that did not ring a bell with that company...), which cost about £1 a pop, but when I tried to find them on t'internert I came up wth nowt.

I was looking for some 10mm equivalents but all I can find are Timecast & Hovels etc which are £9-10 each! That's a hell of a jump, especially as I need about 15 buildings.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the Square or of any other reasonably priced 10mm buildings for C18th Spain/Italy?

I will forever be in your debt.

Regards,

j

Can't help with this I'm afraid - this was the only site I could find.

Sorry,

Phil

Yeah, I had a look and could only see the FB site too. Was worth a punt in case I was missing something! Thanks Phil.

Helllo

The Square fits neatly into the technophobic luddite category, they did have a web site, which didn't have a basket or way to pay other than UK cheque. The website was basically a gallery for UK show buyers. He did carry some 6mm staff as well also this may be what you have. The old site is now defunct and the web archive only gives general details - https://web.archive.org/web/20100710045403/http://thesquare-wargames.co.uk:80/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3 (https://web.archive.org/web/20100710045403/http://thesquare-wargames.co.uk:80/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3)

His contact email a few years ago now was nigelpell@btinternet.com when I was berating him about the joys of providing a fully functional website for overseas customers  ;D ;D

Cheers
