What headgear are the artillery crew wearing in packs SAP 15-18?

They are wearing kepi. The uniform cut for all three armies was very similar, differing only in colours. I would recommend both the Osprey on this and the more expensive volume from Caliver. Between them there are a vast array of uniforms, but the pickelhaub version of infantry and cavalry uniforms does not seem to have seen a lot of action in the field. Let me know if you want any information on uniform colours.

Thanks Leman.

I was actually thinking of using the various units in havelocks as FFL in white shirts and the cavalry as Chasseurs d'Afrique in campaign dress. I was hoping that one of the gun crews might also be wearing havelocks.
