There comes a time in a man's life when he has participated in enough Bones Kickstarters that desperate measures are needed...
In short, I volunteered to run a paint and take at my local store. We got all kinds of people
- people that played D&D at the store every week
- people that didn't really know what minis were but painted on canvas
- families with kids of all ages
- kids that were planning on playing Fortnight on the store's XBOXes but got distracted with our cool toys (Someone should totally do Fortnight minis).
- a wargamer that wanted to kickstart his painting
I'd say it was a success and probably will do it again. I mean I somehow still have minis.
Anyway here are some pictures that I remembered to take. I don't think that the lighting is really doing these justice.

No, it was mostly my Reaper paints with some GW washes.
Ahhh, I see - fair enough :) I've found them very handy for quickly getting stuff done. Not sure I'd use them on commission stuff, but they're not bad.
