Hi all,
Due to complications resettling from the RAF, had to spend a little time away from wargaming and concentrating on this real life malarky.
However, i've dusted off all the crates full of Shermans, KVs, Panthers and Priests and got me and my airbrush back up and running.
After much deliberation i've decided to start a fresh and list all of my remaining 10mm ww2 collection on eBay, in an attempt to raise funds for my next U.S project.
My previous plan was to raise a British Armoured Division and a German Panzer Division for this years national shows.
However around 36 British tanks later, I felt I bit off more than I could chew looking at the mountain of lead still remaining :'(
As a bit of closure for my previous project, and for myself here are the remnants of the Normandy project (Links to my eBay page for these items can be found in my bio 8) )

Anyhow my next order is in the pipeline, and here's hoping to have my American battalion sized forces ready in time for the Autumn.
Once I am back on the ball with the my airbrush, I am aiming to have these finished and posted on here within 8 weeks. In the meantime i'll keep this post and my blog updated with my WIP.
Thanks for reading,
Jake
Nice one Jake,
Good to see your magnificent mojo has returned.
Welcome back Jake, good to see your painting again and we'll see you next weekend at Border Reiver!
Welcome back Jake :-h
Same from me !
Cheers - Phil
Had a couple of hours spare this morning to fiddle around with colour schemes for my upcoming US force.
Finally settled with a set of Vallejo colours that I feel best suits the US infantry uniform from June 1944 onwards. It's sometimes hard in 10mm to get the right balance of historical accuracy with colours, whilst at the same time trying to make the colours pop out at you from the games table.
Anyway, i've settled for this scheme ...
