Following on from Norms request for a limited edition of BKC4 in the Black Powder 2 thread :-
I understand that there will be a "Special Limited Edition " of BKC4. It will be signed by Leon, Dave, Milady and the casting Dwarves. It will be limited to 100 copies It will retail at £65.
Or you can get the " Elite Special Unique Limited Edition" of only 10 copies. This will be signed by the above but with Purple ink and will come with two ready made BKC4 armies of Pendraken miniatures of your choice. it will be delivered personally by either Dave Or Leon to your door ( UK Only*) for the paltry sum of £750. Milady will deliver if you prefer, but this incurs an additional £250 Fee.
International Deliveries of the " Elite Special Unique Limited Edition" are possible # but will require individual discussion with Leon.
Rumour has it that Nobby has already ordered the first two of the Elite Editions and his Army packs will not contain any prone figures.
So Order Yours now!
* Excludes Highlands and Islands and some UK Post codes - contact Pendraken for confirmation of Delivery options
# This will usually incur Air fare costs for two adults, and a weeks accommodation - more favourable terms will be given to exotic beachside locations ( Milady said especially Bali or The Maldives)
Dr. Dave will have you. You have been warned!

They said something about a Korean supplement with Centurions! :D :D :D For only £850, and that includes the lamination.
This sounds like a good plan to me...!

Is the BP Collector's Edition a first in wargaming or has it been done before? I know you can get such things for Risk, Monopoly, Scrabble etc.
It's quite common in GW land, I believe.
GW do it a lot (every blinking book I think)
Was looking forward to the adeptus titanicus reboot. £175 for the grandmaster edition! (was still tempted though :-[)
Yep, GW being doing it for years.

The one with the brandy snifter and the first edition of Oman's "A History of the Pennisular War", purchased for 14 and 6 in a used book stall in Hay-on-Wye in 1967?
14/6 was a lot of money in 1967. As a schoolboy I was earning 15/- for a long day's work portering guests' bags in a hotel on Saturdays.

Aye, well, o'course we 'ad it tough. ;D
As for a BKC limited edition - I'll take two. One for keeping safe and one for playing.
Surely three Doc, one for putting on eBay in two years time so you can retire to the Bahamas.
I was likely one of your guests, young'un. :)

I'll add it my investment portfolio of limited edition wargames rules and sell it at the height of the market. That's what my financial advisor (aka oxygen thief) recommends. ;)
Oxygen thief - great expression ;D ;D
