Title: ACW Project - Step I
Post by: Jase on 24 November 2010, 05:14:34 AM
A loooooong time ago, I had this crazy idea for a big ACW game I wanted to organise for my friends. I bought some Pendraken stuff and let it rest for six months. Now I got my mojo back and actually started working on it again. So, after lots of gluing (including my fingers several times) the Union army is all prepped, glued and ready for basing before I will undercoat and then paint it.

Union army (pic is clickable and links to bigger picture):

They're about 700 individual miniatures there, multibased though. Once the Union army is painted and done I will start on the Confederate side. I do not have a deadline planned for myself, but I hope to have it all finished by then end of next year (hopefully sooner). Luckily, my friends do not know of this forum, as this project is a surprise for them :)

I will update this thread irregularly, usually since I will need to keep motivate myself as there are quite a lot of miniatures involved and I need to keep my focus :)

Cheers
Jase

To be fair, he did say 'irregularly' - not "never again"  ;) :P ;D

Well, 'never' implies strict regularity of a kind, as in: I do not update at exact intervals of 1 millennium.  :P

Seriously, I hope to hear about this project one of these days.

Best of luck and happy hobbying Jase... long job ahead of you now - I`m almost envious. Nothing quite like the start of a new project to get the stimulation bubbling away in the pot   :)
