Right then, with the stuff that arrived last week, we can knock a few things off the old Top 10. Here's the shiny new list:
1. Falklands War range
2. Fantasy Bears
3. French Revolutionary range
4. Korean War range
5. Aztecs range
6. Indian Mutiny range
7. Yom Kippur range
8. WW2 Italian artillery
9. Colonial Fuzzy on camel
10. WW2 Personalities
The top 7 are all full ranges, so it's gonna take some time to make a dent in those. I might have to look at doing separate lists for ranges/individual items.
Fantasy bears a full range - al we want is Brown, Grizley, Polar - not a full set, but BEARS.

Being a completely selfish git :d and not even remotely interested in No2 to No10 >:(, I'm gonna throw my hat in the ring (again and hope it doesn't get noticed :-[) to keep banging on about the No1 Slot. ;)
1. Because its primarily an infantry based list and probably the smallest of the ranges in the top 10 so will take less endeavour all round ;)
2. Because no-one else makes it in 10mm and Pendraken will do there usual sterling job I am sure
3. Because it will diversify and expand upon Pendrakens magnificence in 10mm taking the collection to new and exciting places
4. Because I am a selfish git who has no interest in 2-10 ;D
Please, please, please, pretty please with a cherry on top!
So I may yet live to command an army of Aztecs in 10mm. There's hope for the world yet!
(I presume there'll be Tlaxcalans and other Mesoamericans to use against them with the Spaniards!)
Hmmm, no middle eastern :(
Just a few generic figures plus the odd specialist would cover most of the period 11th - 18th centuries. Persians, North Indians, Egyptian, Tartars and more...
Would cover more armies with less figures than any other range
Thanks for posting that, Leon.

It would be good to have a separate list for small sets and fullranges; Id even vote for a limited number of votes so folks would focus on what the really really want.
For specific WWI personalities for the, I want a Vatutin (see him early in this fillm), The distinctive body form should make him recognizable in 10mm.

Would any of the Viet Nam Aussies be any good for Falklands?
Maybe, but I could guarantee that VN riverine monitors would go well with the Australians though! :d

bit cold for shirt sleeves... :o
I guess the question is whether the Aussies could, in effect, be used as dollies...hmm...
Dollies???
Dont fall for it Nik. Scurilous people are trying to bump the falklands range down the pecking order!!!! :) ;) :D ;D
I dont want to play with dollies I want to play with toy soldiers >:(
Still no CHINESE is this list :'(
Having seen one of my favs' the Aztecs on the list I should keep my gob shut, but...
I'm with big_paul182 on this one.
No chinese?!! ;)
Just had to lash out to 'the other company' to get some :(
I agree that Chinese are needed, but Aztecs will be a big job to paint. Be patient and wait for Chinese in 2012.
What 2012 for my Chinese :'( :'( :'(
My Top 10 Requests
1) Colonial Period 1850-1905(late 1890 to1905 for me)China
2) Warlord Period 1920 -1930,China
3) Chinese Civil war to Korean war
4) Warring State Period 400BCE to 200BCE,China
5) More ECW
6) More WW2 Italian
7) Falklands
8) Yow Kippur Range
9) Indian mutiny
10) ??
More Coloial/WW2 Personalities/Aztecs
Bears :-\
I take it you fancy a bit of Chinese then?! You need to find some like-minded souls, and get them to come and vote!
Well actually.........where do I put my vote. I was recently thinking about a colonial range to include the Boxer Rebellion would be nice. I think a lot of the western powers are already included or could be adapted from Pendraken's existing range with maybe a few additions but it's the Chinese that's missing!
We could start a request for Chinese in 2012 campaign starting with collecting the foil trays from chinese take away's and sending them to be melted down for the metal for the figures! ;D
;)yes,........if i had to pick one :-\ "Colonial Period 1850-1905(late 1890 to1905 for me)"

3) Chinese Civil war to Korean war
This would get my vote. A lot of the hardware is already in the WW2 lists anyway, so it's the infantry that's mostly missing. And for Korea, you have an excuse to add the Pershing, M4A3E8 'Easy Eight' and Centurion to the lists.

Please add my vote for Aztecs!
And by the way do we speak about natives?
I hope conquistadores are also to be released in this range.
Votes added!
And there's hope yet, as Leon has just admitted to his love of all things Chinese. :-[ Well, or at least Chinese take-away, so with the suggestion of the metal trays for the melt-down that part would now be solved. :P

The League of Augsburg is currently being worked on, Clibinarium is doing some more dollies for it. We've got quite a bit to release in January, so the LofA will hopefully make an appearance Feb/Mar time.

Aye, the flintlock and matchlock dollies I did were a shade too short and a little thick, so they looked a bit stubby. It was a hard choice but it would have forever irritated me if I hadn't redone them. They are being cast currently (I think). The additional dollies are those for the cavalry.
ooh excellent...that sounds really good
More fantasy female characters
Town/Villiagers
Some BIG rooms for Dungeons.. and a movable sunken well to fit in a room.

Cheers Clib on the LoA. Plenty of time to plan and save then (and try to finish my current mountain of painting!)

Is this a thread, I don't know :-\ but what I would like to encourage is the completion of ranges so that full TOEs can be obtained for standard organistions. :-*
My primary interest are Napoleonics, WW II & ACW. Examples would be AA guns for the Russian WW II and artillery/cavalry for the minor Napoleonic nations where the infantry exist but nothing else. :'( I also like playing with emoticons. ;D

With the 1812 ranges, we didn't get chance to complete them as we'd have liked, and that designer now works for another company. Hopefully the new 1809 range will fill in any areas like this over time.
Personally I would like to see some WW2 Flamethrower troops for any nations that you have not already done them for i.e Great Britain and Russia (if you have them let me know which ones they are please.)

Russian FT with the pioneers (SV44) I think (together with mine-dogs!) But I could be mistaken.
Brits have there in BR83 I believe.
Brits definitely have flame throwers - centre two chaps in this picture

Yeah, I didn't think there was! I checked with Dave when he got in from work tonight, and he gave me the above codes. We've sent you some of these down in the bag of samples. Have they arrived yet?
Excuses excuses excuses, Will have a look when the package arrives no sign of it yet bit dissapointing must be stuck in the great Royal Mail black hole. Looking forward to seeing them.

The 1860s and 70s ranges are fantastic - but, there are still one or two gaps. One of these will be plugged with what I hope is only the first of the FPW personality packs (an APW personality pack would also be useful!). A second gap is for the French Guard Artillery. They need their own limber outriders and caisson and limber sitters to be able to complete the set. I think the figures from the new Napoleonic French may work, but would welcome confirmation. Third would be some pioneer/engineer figures for both sides, and perhaps some dismounted dragoons? Finally, on a separate topic, but still banging on about personalities, what about some real ECW/TYW commanders?
Cheers
Mollinary
Just to be a pain I'd like to repeat my usual request for the Falklands Range - especially given as we are only a year away from the 30year anniversary --- can I really be that old !!!!
Rob
Erm - YES !!
IanS ;D
The Nam Aussies are not suitable for Falklands British or Argentieian in any way the uniformes are completly different, plus I have never seen a picture of a squaddie in the Falklands with sleves roled up! Even the PBR is not suitable for the Aussies as with the exception of Bung Touh we never opperated in any delta or river enviroment.
As a newcomer, may I add my vote to the Korean War? Strikes me that most of the Brits and Yanks could be lifted straight from WWII. All that's then needed is the NKPA and those pesky Chinese. New equipment might include Centurions and M48s, but again the majority of the stuff already exists in WWII.
While I'm at it, can I also include a heartfelt plea for 1866 Saxon limbers and teams. You already do Hanoverian and Austrian, so why not the other nations?
Not the Britrish I'm afraid, same weapons, but lots of US cold weather stuff.

I'll try and get one done for next week sometime, with the requests split into ranges and individual items.
I will just make this point about new releases, I have been gamming for the last 45 years, in that time period I have started many armies in different scales, at least 3/4 of them are unfinished (or were unfinished till I sold them). My point is this, within the pendraken range there are many ranges that are not quite finished of, and in many cases the only need 1 or 2 figures to finish them off. For example the Vietnam range, the only figure missing is an NVA figure Standing with RPD LMG, and a couple of tanks PT76, Centurian and M48. That in my humble view point would finish the range of. Another example would be the Dark Ages where a packet of 3 civiillian figure would also finish the range of, and make some usefull additions to the Medievil Range. At the same time Pendraken has got to be honest with us. It's a business and I think it would be fair for you to let us know which ranges are not selling and no new additions will be made to those ranges
So whats next on the Top Ten list?
And how far off are/is the Falklands range? Its been No1 for some time now... ;)

I think they all sell really, the only slow ones would be the current League of Augsburg (which is being replaced), the Plains War range (which are older, smaller style figures) and maybe the Crimean stuff? We're quite happy to add to any of the ranges though, it's purely about how many votes things get. We wouldn't have bothered adding the SYW French w/ turnbacks to an already comprehensive range, but there was a lot of interest, so we got them done.
There are a few ranges where we'd look at replacing the whole lot instead of just adding a code, but not many of them. The Crimean and a couple of the Ancients ones would be like that.

I'm gonna get the new Top 10 list done very soon, I've been struck down by the plague again so haven't been into work today. The Falklands is still up there, so it'll be one of the main contenders once we've got the Schleswig range done. And 2012 would be the 30th Anniversary... :D
Molinary is right, I vote for what he suggests: more APW and FPW personalities (Friedrich-Karl, Mac-Mahon, Canrobert, Friedrich-Wilhelm, mounted ADC for both camps), pioneers, pontooners, dismounted cavalry, guard limbers.) I also suggest a generic encampment scenery for the 19th century.
I'll just add that the Vietnam range seriously needs some stuff added to it.
Huey variants: Hogs and slicks with open doors.
Cobra gunships.
Riverine Monitors: Command, troop carrier, fire-support variant etc.
USMC AMTRAC variants.
All added!

I'll pop it on the lists, but I couldn't see us adding any more for the foreseeable future.
For Vietnam
A-1 Skyraider (will also apply to Indo China)
CH-47 Chinook ( can be used in a lot of others }
