Title: Paint query - what is the same shade as ......
Post by: Sunray on 26 June 2018, 03:06:35 PM
I need a spray tin of Tamiya TS -46 Light Sand.  No longer can it be simply posted via Royal Mail, but send via courier- costs as much as the paint ! :-

What non spray alternatives of the same tone/shade  are available ?  Anything close in Vallejo ? :)

I plan to use Vallejo Middlestone when I start my Weird WW2 German army. That seems to be a nice match.

Yep middlestone is a good shade

Do you have a Hobby Craft near you? They carry various Tamiya (and other) kits and paints. I think they have the sprays but I'm not certain.

The Hobbycraft in Warrington certainly has Tamiya sprays as well as Revell & Tamiya acrylics.

Thank you one and all.  Found an LP-30 shade in a small pot which will finish off the aircraft model .  :)
