Title: Gaming euphemisms for drunk
Post by: Last Hussar on 14 May 2018, 03:42:26 PM
Inspired by a comment made about figures being soaked off their bases, what other gaming terms sound like you're drunk?

My Prussians are completely flocked ?

To Hit Number - How many pints does it take to get you fighting drunk?

Flaming Pigs - Evenin' Ossifer!

HoTT - what anyone of the appropriate gender looks like after a few pints

Flocked and Textured - see also "Tired and Emotional"

Flocking Done - completely knackered

Dipped or Varnished? - Stoned or pissed?

On Table - exuberantly dancing

Off Table - falling down drunk

Combat Round - who's turn is it to get the drinks in?

Break through the shield wall - to get to the bar in a crowded pub

To take a morale check - will this be the drink that makes you puke?

Fail a morale check - see above.

Naval combat - drunken knee trembler

Off his phase - so drunk, that the player misses part of his turn.

Boozooka'd - sometimes happens to those who get tanked up.

Paint the town red - a cataclysmic paint spillage.

Drunk as m'lord - to get as drunk as a certain Oik from Runcorn.

Hair of the dog - a dubious hangover cure which could explain why Westie is getting slightly thin on top.

Cut Off - when the barman refuses to serve you more alcohol but, in Techno's case, something more catastrophic.

Half-cut - close call for Techno.

Plastered - Techno again.
