Title: Bumper load of masters just arrived!
Post by: Leon on 18 November 2010, 07:35:31 PM
Right then, you've all been voting on a huge variety of things for the past 8 months or so, and this month we have been able to dedicate some time to getting a load of the most popular requests ticked off!  We won't be moulding these until after the Leeds show, so don't get too excited just yet, but we'll have them ready for the Janurary releases.

So, here's some pics which I hope will result in some happy gamers!

No.4 in the Top 10 requests - SYW French w/ turnbacks!

No.5 in the Top 10 requests - Sudan Mahdi cavalry, with sword and spear!

No.6 in the Top 10 requests - FPW Personalities!

French - Napoleon III, Marshal Bazaine, and a guy delivering despatch:

Prussian - Wilhelm I, Count Helmut v Moltke and an orderly (the spike has fallen off Wilhelm 's pickelhaub, so he'll be going back to the designer):

And some other requests:

1859 French Voltigeur:

SYW Generic kneeling, firing pose:

And some other bits we already had planned.

SCW militia cavalry:

Napoleonic French horse artillery:

Great timing on the FPW personalities.  I also see some more SYW regiments in my future.

Greetings

Excellent stuff.  I can see I'll be buying SYW French in turnbacks and SYW kneeling (as soon as I've made inroads into the French I'm picking up on Saturday) and the FPW personality packs.

Regards

Edward

That'll be a bunch of Sudan Mahdi cavalry coming my way then... hopefully I'll have my British Sudan army up and painted by January  :) That SCW stuff could consign my bag of unpainted 28mm to Ebay as well  :-\

Good news!  Personalities look good, but more please!  Those Napoleonic Horse Artillery limber crews may finally fill the FPW gap for the French Guard Artillery??

The Napoleonics are looking great, and since expanding my Colonials to the Sudan and eventually revisiting the 18th century are also on my list, these are all welcome additions.

Cheers,

Christopher

Sudan cavalry with sword looks great but lose the shield, they did not use shields on horseback. I would lose the head dress on the other guy with the spear and put a skull cap on him then they will be perfect.  The guy with the sword will make a nice standard bearere as well. How soon can we order?

The New masters - FPW, SYW and FAW, fantastic! Are you trying to bankrupt me. 10mm SYW game at Phalanx next year using Minden Rose. 10mils on the 25mmx25mm inf bases look great. Dour Puritan :D

Hello Leon

Then are the French - Napoleon III, Marshal Bazaine, and a guy delivering despatch and Prussian - Wilhelm I, Count Helmut v Moltke and an orderly coming out?

I want to place an order for some supply wagons and adding them to the list would be good, and save postage.

These have been moulded and will be ready for theFebruary releases.  The despatch guy might be delayed though, as plastic has been used on the master and it will require a different moulding process.

I'll check with Dave, but I believe these will have been moulded at the same time as the other odds and ends, and so would also be ready for February.

Only eight days to go until the Emperor arrives.
The Troops are polishing their boots and shining there buckles. practicing their formations for the big parade. The Prussians are already ready as only they could.

for those who thought my post on the gereral board was a bit strange - this is now in context
