I was looking for a couple of 28mm crocodiles on the cheap for various purposes. A couple of the guys at the club are using the Schleich toy baby crocodiles, which are a good size and come ready painted, but still look like babies to me.
I went looking around Amazon to see if there were any cheaper toys and found a pack of 12 plastic crocodiles for the princely sum of £2.20! Of course I didn't stop there and before you knew it I purchased 48 various critters, ready painted, for less that a tenner! My local ASDA has something similiar - though I'm not sure of the price.
