From a recent Hasslefree Kickstarter. The idea was various scantily dressed pin-ups, but Kev also produced some rather nice fully clothed figures, ideal for Frostgrave etc.

A different take on a Frostgrave warband. :-bd
Looks good!
Look good to me, and I especially like the shield with the half sun and half moon! Very creative that.
Terry
Seconded :)
Thanks chaps
Really do have to get round to playing that.
They're cracking! I especially like your lead wizard :)
Ian, you should give it a bash or Ghost Arcipelago if warmer climes suit you better - they're good fun skirmish games with a continuing narrative, but where the game's the thing and the book keeping is simple.
So, I decided to add some more bits...
Treasures (the objectives of the game)
My first wandering monsters, bears (I bought these about 8 yeras ago, thinking I might use them as Snow Trolls in Bloodbowl Norse team)
And approaching a warrior
(https://i.imgur.com/GytrCVs.jpg)
Who says Humans get all the fun in Frostgrave. Dark Hold Goblins, by Rebel Miniatures.
This was a Kickstarter from years back, and now I've bought reinforcements to make these into a warband too.
Jason the Mage, with his familiar, Little Jason
(https://i.imgur.com/JuMd73N.jpg)
Jason the Warrior
(https://i.imgur.com/r97l5RB.jpg)
Jason the Assassin
(https://i.imgur.com/fy7fJ4S.jpg)
And a female character, now, I couldn't call her Jason could I?
Jacinta The Witch
(https://i.imgur.com/25EbvBE.jpg)
That's the feminine for Jason
Very nice indeed, Will ! :)
Cheers - Phil
I like the polar bears. :-bd
Why not have gobbos in your Frostgrave warband? My Necromancer has all orcs in his warband, they are less likely to ask awkward questions about the ethics of raising zombies. :-/ =)
And where else could I field an orc Templar?!! :d
Top stuff, love the bears.
My "main" warband is Winter Fey. It's got elven Knights Rangers, & Fey Wizard-Warriors, & goblin & puckish rogues. My other is a beast man and (small) minotaurs and ratmen lead by a satyr witch. Everyone else's are an eclectic mix of thirty odd years each of D&D and wargames figures :D
They look great! I especially like the moon/sun shield!
Terry
Great stuff!

Well, if you don't ask... ;D
All very nice and some really great creativity in the coloring.
Terry
A rare work in progress shot from me.
Just got to base them, but presenting the Order of The White Bear.
Many centuries ago, these noble warriors swore an oath to defend, well... no one knows, but they are still doing it! Why? Well, in their present state of undeath, a lack of vocal chords limits the average passerbyes ability to question them...

Looking good so far Will! :-bd
Really cool. We have nearly finished our first campaign and its good fun,
The only thing we have found is that once you have got up to level 15 or so ,the monsters are either easy to defeat or a complete nightmare with very little in between.
So we are going to start our next campaign with a new warband. might have to look at some of these.
And here we go...
BIG batch of baddies

That 'Balrog' looks really, really close to an old Citadel model.
I'd bet a shiny new sixpence that that's what it is.
Cheers - Phil
That's coz it is Phil!
You owe me a shiny new Sixpence, then, Will. ;) ;D ;D ;D

How they struggled. For nearly ten minutes they reminded themselves that Conan was puerile escapism, that woman warriors don't have to be a fetishist's fantasy...alas, all in vain.
Lovely work on all these creatures and monsters and treasures.

Nice work Will and I have a similar Balrog model that pre-dates the Citadel one. Can't remember which company made it though. Rulebook just arrived and the rules look good, a mix of D&D and Mordheim. Looking forward to giving them a go.
Hate to sound negative but...
Well I've cleaned my glasses, wiped down my computer screen and the pictures are still blurred!!!
May I suggest you learn how to focus coz I can't tell if the figures are well painted or not because the pictures are just so...insert your own expletive here!
Nice one, Will !

Terrific job and great ideas Lemmy!
I tip my hat off for the painting of the shields. :-bd
What scale are these figures?
Hi Edmund
I'm pretty sure the old Citadel.....and the Hasslefree would be 25/30 mm for the human scale.....with the dwarfs made to fit in with that size.
No idea how tall those penguins are ! ;D
Cheers - Phil
Penguins are 15mm high and 28mm scale.
Latest additions from the pile...

Almost tempted to do the others now (my Mum has the dragon painted up at her house)

When I first got this set, I was not happy with this dwarf, it hardly fitted the heavy armour/spiky helmet stereotype, but now I've painted it, I quite like it.
And this figure was the one that really got my goat! It just feels... lazy! No scabbard (it must be magic) and the armour "We meant half scale, you know, to his waist!"
