Dazzling eye candy ! 8)
With the growing range of Cold War vehicles, Phil's Falklands Brits will never be unemployed. And look out in the Korean range for those nice proxy British command figures. We even persuaded Leon for a very senior chap handsome with a beret on the radio "Callsign Sunray".
In my view the Pendraken figures work better with Timecast AFVs than their own figures - which in my humble opinion suffer from scale creep and oversized weapons.
Rumour control says the Saracen is coming soon! :) :)
They nice!
ooh the Saracen. Would be nice before Salute!
:-bd very nice.

Nice stuff Will, but you only need 4 !
9 in a battalion?
Only 4 Will, 1 Troop, swiched a couple of times from RAC to RA. Given the ability to fire from full enfilade 4 is plenty.
Coolio
From 1984 to 1990 Type 57 Armoured Regiments had a Troop of 9x FV438, in a 4-vehicle section and 5-vehicle section. One of the weirder British organisations to be sure, probably more to do with avoiding paying salaries for a full squadron HQ command than anything tactical. It also had 2x Ferret Scout Cars, 2x 4t lorries with trailers and 2x Landrover REME.
Prior to that, from initial service in 1969 the FV438 were inside the Armoured Regiments (not sure how many), but from c1977 the FV438 were transferred to Royal Artillery Anti-tank Batteries held at divisional level.

Leon, can we have two ferrets please?
I don't think he's even cast up your meerkat yet. ;)
Cheers - Phil :)
Could you see a ferret in 10mm, although a Ferret......
On a seriuois note - with or without turret. Don't forget the MK 5 ? with swingfire for 16 AB Brigade, given Dave's perchant for rare or uniquie vehicels.
More serious question- who will they face off against on the table?

There is a company of T62s I already own.

Only for Youkies.
The Mk4 Ferret just has bigger wheels - no prob in small scales.
Been sitting in the lead pile for a while...
FV 105 Sultan from Timecast, no idea when I will use it, but such a cool model!
