Actually the kit is nearer 1/900 - its a snap kit from Li Lo of the Eisenhower. Comes in at 9 inches. And at under a £5 including postage. Useful as a small auxiliary carrier or - with a ramp- the small Harrier type that Spain and Italy built.

Sorry Ian - on a train so limited wi fi - Mine arrived today, There are a number of outlets at a total including postage of around £5.

Nice size for 1/600 small carrier.

The model is nuclear, so I will scratch build a small smoke stack on my version to reflect a diesel turbine powered small carrier.
A ramp out of plastic card could follow for the Harriers - and a few small boats and AA defence units.
