The only two sources I have found so far are :

http://www.instoria.it/home/esercito_pontificio.htm (http://www.instoria.it/home/esercito_pontificio.htm)

and "The Armies and Uniforms of Marlborough's Wars" vol 2 which has a couple
of pages of description together with three colour drawings by Bob Marrion.

This is where we need some input from Italianforum members who can speak the lingo !
Seriously, if you find any more, I would be keen to know.

Best of luck.

In 1690 the Papal infantry companies in the Venetian army in Morea wore dark blue coat with cuffs, lining, waist and stockings of distinctive colour: red for the first company, 'citron
yellow' for the second, gray for the third, 'cinnamon' for the fourth.
This information was in the article on the Venetian Army in History & Uniforms no.5 available here: http://www.soldiershop.com/?subcats=Y&status=A&pshort=Y&pfull=Y&pname=Y&pkeywords=Y&search_performed=Y&q=history%26uniforms&dispatch=search.results
