An unpromising title, but worth a watch? On now 8.00pm UK time on Channel 4!

Recording it as I type so that I can watch it at my leisure later on this week.
Thanks - also recorded it. I played the new remake of GMT's Hannibal - Rome Vs Carthage on Friday night, so this documentary comes at an interesting time for me.
Not sure it told me anything new but I rather enjoyed it.
Definitely better than the somewhat turgid episode of Troy I'd watched in Catch Up before it!
Missed that. :(
Cheers - Phil
Bit disappointed really, it was a bit of 'how to turn the analysis of a soil sample into an hour long documentary', all the other evidence was pretty circumstantial particularly the bit about the rock slides and interpreting Polybius (who wasn't there and was writing years later) :-
Hannibal had a large army and he picked up many local Gaulist tribes along the way with local knowledge, the army probably used several routes through the alps.
Typical of the 'Secret' type of prog., high on guesswork, assumption and individual interpretation.
