One of the ideas behind the GBnUIT is to encourage gamers to build a new army, but of course it is not required. As the creator of the tournament I feel obligated to create a new one, so even though any of my Weird War armies and some of my Post Apocalyptic armies would work, I have decided to revive some of my renaissance/17th century interest. I am doing a Muscovite army since I already have the figures and love the colorful dress, most especially of the Streltsi in their yellow, orange raspberry and bilberry etc. kaftans. I have finished the artillery element and started on two Shooter elements of Streltsi, and yep - they are "pretty"!!!! The two Streltsi elements are the 10th Regiment, Feodor Lopokhim, in yellow-orange Kaftans with raspberry trim and green boots. The other is 12th Regiment, Ivan Naramansk in a cherry kaftan with black lace and light blue trim and yellow boots. Can you say colorful!!!
More as it progresses
That Muscovite army is another old friend of mine.
I've finished the two shooter elements - Streltsi, and the Artillery element. Currently working on the Flyer element - the Jiltsi. No basing done as I do the entire army at the same tie for consistency. After the Jiltsi will be the Rider element - Cossacks, and the General element. Thank only leaves the Horde - militia, the god - Winter, Knights - Boyars and the Behemoth - Streltsi pike block. The Stronghold will be an armored wagon. So far it is a VERY colorful army.

I finished the Flyer element - the Jiltsi, and will try to get some pictures of the four finished elements. Working on the command element now and will be starting the pike block of Streltsi.

Time to display my ignorance: what is GBnUIT?
That's the sound I make getting out of a low chair.
Good, Bad and Ugly International Tournament.
IIRC it stands for the Good, Bad 'n' Ugly International Tournament. "A Hordes of the Things" (HOTT) tournament.
Edit: Apparently I should have paid more attention to the "someone posted something since you started typing this" forum message :)
Perhaps I should amend it to "I agree with fsn" :-)
I qquite like the historical side of HOTT - Samurai with dragons, Condottiere with Leonardo machines and the like. Always thought the League of Ratsburg would be a good laugh.
