A reliably exciting match-up, this.

My rules allow Romans a number of sneaky tricks. One is that they can sometimes "fold" an overlap and outflank an enemy on the second round of melee.

Depressing. My argyraspids ended up abandoning their heliopolis because they were needed in the battle. Fortifications don't get captured easily.

Those Numidians are meant to be travelling through the town, not over the rooftops.

It isn't easy to win a big fight against good foot, even if you're good quality too.

Is the knowledge of the rule widely available to your opponents?

Like your pics.

In this case, sadly it was. I was the Seleucids, and it was used against me!

Ah! I see that now. I am often hoisted by rules of my own making.

Where are the Greek scholars?

I had no idea a siege tower was called a "helepolis", simply thought you were fighting in Egypt.
