Title: 14th Army
Post by: Orcs on 29 January 2018, 02:10:55 AM
Thinking about doing the 14th Army in Burma. So  a couple of questions

How may different poses in the packs below

BRF 19 Rifle in slouch hat
BRF 20Sten in slouch hat
BRF 21 Bren in slouch hat

Do we have Gun crews and HMGs in Slouch hat?

Does anyone know of suitable proxies, or ones that will do with a suitable "paint job" conversion

The WWI Middle East range is one option for the HMGs, not sure how they'd fit in with the WWII figures
ME10 Australian HMG (3)

Let me know if you would like some pics

If you can wait  a bit with the project -  Techno and I have researched/crafted the Early Korea War British to be  a reasonable Proxy for Burma or indeed any post 1945  Far East British deployment whilst the .303 weapons were in issue.

The crews and HMGs are in the bush hat as opposed to Aussie campaign hat.

I have to say - in my opinion - they are some of Phil's best work, especially the command groups.  And thanks to all on forum for helpful images od kit and uniforms :-bd

Hi

Thanks for the replies, Its a long term project, so I will wait for the Korean stuff to appear, as it sounds as though they will be fine.
