As the end of the year approaches we'll be reviewing what we achieved during the past 12 months, as well as getting our plans ready for 2018. We'll have those posted up for everyone after Christmas, but in the meantime I thought it would be interesting to see how everyone else managed?
Did you get that new army completed, find the time to fit in more gaming, or did real life get in the way? And have you got any new projects in mind for 2018?
Completed
- my Italo-Turkish & First Balkan Naval Wars project :)
- my DBA First Crusade project, most was painted last year ;)
- more early WWI reinforcements for Pierre the Shy :)
Got plenty of gaming in :)
Spent a lot of time casting around for another period / project :-\ :-B @-)
Decided to expand an existing period for now and have made a good start on my AWI in Virginia :)
For 2018 the plan is to complete the AWI in Virginia project then have another look at ECW and the For King and Parliament rules
I completed my painting challenge.
Got me some small armies ready to play bolt action, expanded my waterloo armies again and got a lot of my old LOTR stuff painted.
Not a bad year!
I've got a few more days to go yet, but will do my annual review then. Interesting for me to look back on my plans for the year and what I have, or more likely haven't, achieved.

Despite having stopped 4 months in summer I am happy because I have had your recognition of my work. At the moment I am preparing a scenario of the American Civil War, I have to finish the English caravan in Sudan. As a next project I painted Napoleon's Russians and then I will think about it. Maybe I'll get to paint Spanish Napoleon or expand Austrian 1809. The idea is to prepare a good job for the 2018 contest. :) :) :)

Plus I am sure there are some other little bits I am not remembering right now. However, for me I feel it has been a very productive year. The one thing I've not gotten to do is as much gaming as I would ahve liked. But the game days were not always good for my schedule, so had to miss some.
Terry
Not much in terms of raw productivity ....... but I did get a lot of thinking done :)
