Title: painting Early War British Armour
Post by: freddy326 on 11 November 2010, 04:11:30 PM
Hi,

Can anyone give me some advice on which Vallejo paints to use for Early War British Armour.

So far I've got Carriers,  Matilda I and Matilda II with a Brown Violet base coat and German Camo Dark Green irregular strips. But, I don't know which colour to use for the cruisers base coat.

Or do you think that these will be too dark?

regards

1939-40 stuff is Green/Green, with yellow anti-gas  patches. See Zaloga - Blitzkeig Colours. This applies to all AFV, impressed tansport was often not repainted.
