Leon,
Two questions. 1-Wounds taken from shooting or melee does not force a fallback till protection and morale phase.
2- Unit A has two wounds and unit 1 has two wounds both in melee
. A was the attacker. A fallback for protection and moral. Does 1 the defender fallback also in his phase.

ps found a few battle reports and they cause more confusion.

Correct.

Yes, both fall back. Any unit that suffers 2+ hits must fall back during the Protection and Morale phase (unless a special ability applies).
Hello,
Thank you for clearing that up. It leads to another question. If I have three CP may I place it on the unit avoiding the fall back or the fall back still occur.

Check the phase sequence.
Fall back moves occur before Protection rolls. So the unit sustaining 2+ hits falls back. After this you make Protection rolls that may be modified by CP.
