Hi

Does anyone have a picture or explanation on the assembly of the 17th century carriage?

Cheers

Hi,

Just done one, easy to assemble. The rear wheels and angled rail are one piece and the front just slots onto the front wheels/draw bar.
Hope these help.

It was ahead of its time. A concept vehicle really.
Beautiful work, Kev.

It's basically that, with an inferior paint job!

Well, no disputing that the previous picture is C17th, but the model is part of the SYW range, more than halfway through the C18th, hence the confusion I suspect.

Kev,

Stunning paint work.   The colours and finish are superb.
A great advert for the carriage - sales will no doubt follow !

A job well done, indeed! I like the coat of arms(?) on the door and the curtains! To be fair, the catalogue states its a 17th/18th Century carriage and most of the figures used in the photographs appear to be from the SYW personalities range.

Thank's for the comments chaps, i just finished the French, Hanoverian and Misc from the SYW range that's why they are all together. The coat of arms is for Pengilley, ( i think ) well my attempt  ;D, hopefully Leon might recognise it.

Thank you all for your help and photos.  It was the rear wheels and the odd spare bar that confused me most , butu I am easily confused

The Pengelly coat of arms is, I believe "idiots rampant proper on argent, with chief sable and four um's or."

The "um" is, of course a Middle Borough word for a small mutant bee. In fact the native synapses flow as if through some dense medium so that many things to those brought up in the chemically exotic and beneficially suspect atmosphere of Miiddle Borough are referred to as "um's.".

I was very confused when I put one together a bit back, but then that's par for the course ;)

Nice model, I'm tempted by another for a command stand for my c19th Italians!
