If Leon has got the ones you mean, it was a game put on by my friend and long time gaming opponent John Drewienkiewicz and myself.  The rules used were "To the Last Gaiter Button" by Real Time Wargames, available from Keith Warren of Realistic Modelling, our terrain making guru.  Most of your questions I think are dealt with in the threads, but if you have any more, feel free to post and I'll do what I can to answer them.
