Thanks for accepting me guys, got my dark elf figurines a day or so ago, happy I made the purchase. I'm located in the sunny West Yorkshire and hoping to be able to find people to wargame with...
Kind Regards
Luke
Hi Luke,
welcome to the forum! It can be a place of both inspiration and insanity :)
If you have questions plenty of people here are both knowledgeable and helpful.
If you're interested in rules then it's likely someone here will have at least read them, if not played them.
If you post pictures of your painted figures there will be nice comments and sometimes even tips on how to make them look even better than they already do.
Enjoy your time here!
Welcome to the forum, Moggy. I'm on the wrong side of the pond to get together to play but you're likely to find someone here.
Enjoy the madness! :)
Hello and welcome!
Hi Luke, welcome to the Forum!

Welcome Luke,
Even if you do tell porkies about the weather in Yorkshire. We all know it rains ALL the time in Yorkshire, apart from summer which is on 27th August between half past one and Five o'clock :)
Welcome to the Dark Side Luke. There is a lighter side where the great events of actual history from actual wars takes place.

Welcome Moggy :-h
I see you have already attracted the attention of our other resident feline ;)
Enjoy this diverse hobby as you see fit :)
Hallo, and are you painting Dark Elves by any chance...
Thanks for all the kind words, to reply to some... Wargaming is a bit of fun... Those battles you talk about already had an ending ;)... Yes I am painting my dark elves but going for a more traditional "still related to high elves in some way" so pale skin and black hair, followed by a purple and gold attire with steel armor... Now how do I insert an image? Haha
Hello and welcome
Hi
And welcome from the not so sunny Mendips.
Cheers Paul
Wall to wall sunshine today, all day in Bonnie Scotland.
Welcome.
You're not a cat are you?
Jim it's a reference to my surname :)
Small images (125kb or less) can be added directly under "additional options" then choose file :) Larger ones use the image button to point to the URL elsewhere.

I never knew about the additional options option for images

May you flourish and prosper under that sign. But this forum needs more cats - there's a deplorable ailurophobia at times.
Speaking of cats....
Have you seen the video of the rugby player getting bitten on the hand by a lion, this morning ?
Not the brightest thing to do, sticking your hand through the bars of the cage and petting its head, as though it was a little kitten.
Boy.....Did the lion move fast, or what ?
Cheers - Phil
Don't think our wild moggy is that dangerous, maybe we should change his handle to TAME KITTY.

Happy to help :D
One of my local friends is a former Rugby player. She's quite dishy, too. Maybe I should try a nibble....
Try winding around her legs and purring.
I suspect she'd wallop me one.
Is that "wine-ding" or "win-ding"?
I've found they generate different reactions.

Probably depends where you nibbled! :)
I think her tastes lie elsewhere.

Yes, the win-ding could quickly become miasmic.
Erm... Yeah...
Hello Moggy
Yes, topics have a tendency to soon become hijacked on this forum and quickly become diverted from the original topic. It can be a little annoying for those new to the group. (I admit that I've been guilty of participating in the past - and no doubt will, again, in the future)
All the best,
Roy from North Yorkshire
People can hijack away... If it keeps people connected :)
