There is an Indian Mutiny range in the early stages of production http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,16556.0.html

would these figures work?

It is always worth a rummage around the colonial ranges, and many figures have multiple applications.

Thought I'd posted a reply this morning. There is a late C19th British India range and there are Indians in the WWI range. The Mutiny range will include Sikhs. Leon would be willing to suggest figures for the conflict, as well as make up specific packs from the existing ranges if you contact him.

Hello rim66

For East India company I'd look through the 19th Century ranges, http://pendraken.co.uk/19th-century/ (http://pendraken.co.uk/19th-century/)

There are troops wearing havelocks in the War of the Pacific range http://pendraken.co.uk/19th-century/americas/1879-1884-war-of-the-pacific/ (http://pendraken.co.uk/19th-century/americas/1879-1884-war-of-the-pacific/)

and other figures wearing pork pie hats in other ranges.

Maybe if you posted pictures of what's in your minds eye, we could offer more specific suggestions for proxies  ie:-

you could look at Schlewsig-Holstein figures:-

Hi Everyone,

Many thanks for the suggestions so far, it is mainly the Sikhs that I think are the issue, figures for these sort of things (sorry it's links, I couldn't seem to add a picture):

Hi

I'll put the pictures up for you:-

(https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1505/0474/products/IND122_1024x1024.jpg?v=1476465006)(https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1505/0474/products/IND128_2_1024x1024.jpg?v=1476466024)(https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1505/0474/products/IND130_2_1024x1024.jpg?v=1476450293)(https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1505/0474/products/IND132_2_1024x1024.jpg?v=1476466182)

Most are going to be hard to find and would mean a lot of conversion work:-

My pick for infantry (that would need turbans added) would be Crimean CB8

Maybe Crimean Heavy Dragoons CB5 for cuirassiers

For Dragoons maybe Schleswig-Holstein Hanoverian dragoons with added turban

And Crimean Russian Cossacks for lancers (also added turban)

A lot of work.

Cheers

Thank you very much indeed - it does seem like a lot of work would be needed. Hmmmm.

Kind regards,
