Gentlemen,
Does anybody have any pictures of the WW-2 Romanians? I was considering to use them as Dutch troops for 1940 but that would really depend on how well defined their uniforms and armament are.
Thanks!
Rob
No, but currently the so and sos are taking the jobs off our Poles.
Hello AoS

Thanks GOM!
As I see it that thread was along the same lines of my way of thinking. I do not find the figures to be useful for Dutch troops 1940 though.
Guess I'll have to rework them completely or ask Leon to do a set of Dutch troops... ;)
Cheers,
Rob
Hello AoS
Yes, they could only be used by myopic people in darkened rooms :).
What you'd need is French Chasseurs in vareuse with Romanian heads.
There is another manufacturer working on Dutch but they don't have the same quality as Pendraken.
A Dutch shop has a Landsverk m36 and a Vickers amphibian (in case you want to amble over to the East Indies :) )

HLJ (Japan) has a Landsverk m36 also as well as a Wilton-Fijenoord, included with 2 Belgian T13B variants, https://hlj.com/product/FIRM007 (https://hlj.com/product/FIRM007)

HLJ also has a 1/144 Curtiss-Wright Demon CW-21B https://hlj.com/product/FIRA004 (https://hlj.com/product/FIRA004) if you want to hang around the East Indies.

Thanks for the tip GOM!
I'm really more interested in the May 1940 scenario's so that's going to be a difficult one... :- The 'French with Romanian heads' option is one I also considered but most of the equipment wouldn't be close enough for my liking. They could be a good start for converting into masters though... ;) :d
Armoured vehicles are not really what you would need for the bulk of the forces; the few M36 Landsverks that were available could only be used in a few scenarios really. Some basic artillery, HMG's and AT-guns with maybe some traction really would be all that's needed.
Cheers,
Rob
