Hi Leon,

Any news on when these are likely to hit the casting queue?

Best,

Mollinary

We're still waiting on the artillery pieces to arrive for them, and then it'll be into the queue behind the WWI extension, the Nap Brunswickers and the last two Warband armies.

the last two Warband armies.

You can't just sneak that kind of stuff in on the end of something else.  :D

I didn't think I was sneaking anything, the WWI sculpts were previewed here months ago!

And the two Warband armies have been mentioned several times, it's the Eldritch Vampires and the Samurai Apes.  These are both almost production moulded, just 2 moulds left to be done.

Well I can fully understand why a miniatures firm with great commitment to historical accuracy would want to put the Italians behind the Samurai Apes in the casting line.

It's probably to keep the children quiet by giving them their toys.

As I said above, because we've not got the artillery pieces yet so there isn't a complete range to release?  And even if we had the guns here, we'd need two master moulds and about 10 production moulds to get them ready. Whereas the Fantasy ranges only need a couple of production moulds and that's them finished off.

Yep, arrived last week before the Gateshead show, so they'll be going into moulds soon.  We're just waiting on some low-temp silicon to arrive.

I hear that the silicon is needed for a new casting of an officer's batman.
A sort of silicon valet.
