Title: Length of Pikes
Post by: iain1704 on 15 July 2017, 05:47:20 PM
Hi Guys

Like so many of you I have succumbed to the temptations of 10mm and I have purchased the new(ish) range of League of Augsburg figures - this despite having enough 15mm Marlburians to sink a battleship.

I am intending using these to enjoy playing Nick Dorrell's rules Twilight of the Sun King - I have sufficient troops to field a few units for each side (French/Anglo-Dutch) - enough to get me started.

I am assuming that the correct length to cut the wire for pikes is 30mm - is this correct

your help/advice would be appreciated

kind regards

Iain

I think from memory a pike would be around 15ft at this point in history, so we went with 30mm length for 10mm.
