I have just finished a conversion on a Rebel Minis 15 MM "Ganger punk" motorcycle to be a police motorcycle for my Post Apocalyptic Law army.

The conversion involved adding the front fender, windscreen, and the saddlebags and police light at the rear. You can see the original figure here. The saddle bags were made from Pendraken T-34 fuel tanks.

Great work Terry 8)

Agree, another excellent conversion,Terry. Since you have added a red and blue light bar to the interceptor, might you consider adding similar lights to the cycle(s)?
Love be the idea of a Post Apoc, Ad Hoc, Big Block, Croc dock...
Thank you all for the comments.
Bill, the little thing sticking up on the back is the police light. I went by the local police force who have such and it is just blue, so that's how mine will be. On the gas tank I am hoping to have the Defense Base Force star, and on the saddle bags the letters DBP. But still waiting on the decals to arrive - as I am pretty sure my local post office started the holiday last Wednesday!!!!
Looking forward to doing these post apoc armies as they are full of opportunities.
Lemmey, sorry to say, but you're going to have to translate that for me please!
Terry
No idea, they just fitted the pattern!
Oh, but Google says it exists! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Batavia-7061291-Pipe-Jaws-2-Piece/dp/B007QTJVTY :o
Lemmey,
OK, I see - Really good and I am chuckling as I type this. However, I am afraid that from now on when I play post apoc games I'm going to think about ad hoc, big bloc, croc docs, or more specifically, the guy in Mad Max 2 who was relaying the needed repairs on the truck to the guy on the wall (the guy that says "What does that mean?"), as he seems to fit the title!!!! But he is also one of my favorite characters in the movie.

Looks really good, Terry.

Lol at that clip!
Yes! A great clip and reminiscent of a visit to the local garage.
This is a pic of police cycles from where we used to live (Charlie West) that shows the red and blue cycle lights I was thinking of (of course, although these are Harleys, they are way too eurostyled for MadMax):

Bill, After I replied to your note earlier I decided to see what I was missing and yep, there they were, two police lights on either side of the headlight. So a very good catch on your part.
I have since added them, and also the little mike coming out of his helmet.
Should start painting him tomorrow along with the rest of the army..
Terry
The motorcycle has been primed and painting begun. Was raining and overcast today so I'll try for a picture tomorrow, although I'm really still just doing pre-coats and base coats of the white areas - which I do in multiple very thinned layers to reduce brush strokes as much as possible.
More soon,
Terry
Still not a great day for taking pictures, but then with my camera skills does it really matter!!!! Here is a picture of the motorcycle as it is as of now. please don't be too critical of it at this point as I am a believer in the old school I learned back in the early 60's from Jack Scruby - sloppy undercoat and careful overcoat. So what you are seeing is the sloppy undercoat.

Looking forward to seeing the end result, Terry. :)
Cheers - Phil.
Nice slop!
Looks great

Very cool conversion.
I've done some more work and nearing being finished. I still want to look for any touch-ups needed, and also need to do the highlights. Then I'll spray it to make it ready for the decals, which have still not arrived (very frustrating, but not surprising with the local mail service - I'm sure they're sitting in a mail bag waiting to be sorted somewhere).

She's starting to look like a police motorcycle now.
Terry
Looks brilliant
Yes! Definitely looking the part.
Coming on nicely
Take care
Andy
Argh! I was also set to spray the gloss coat to make it ready for the decals and realized I'd forgotten to put tail lights on it! Yep, my police cruiser would have to pull him over for non-working, or actually missing taillights!!! ;D
Anyway, back tot he drawing boards to figure the best way to make them, and finally decided to use a piece of a spar from a knight figure (I always replace cast spears with brass wire or you end up with spaghetti. So made a couple of taillights, at 1 MM size, and as I was attaching the first one - SPROING, there it went as it snapped out from the tweezers and went flying across the room. :'( Needless to say trying to find a 1 MM taillight in carpet is a pretty hopeless cause so I made another one.
They have now been installed so no risk of a ticket there!!! I'll paint them shortly and it should be ready to gloss coat.
Pictures soon,
Terry
Here's the police motorcycle finished, except for the basing, for my post apocalyptic Law army.

Hard to see the star on the gazzoline tank as it's only 2 MM in size.
Terry
So brilliant. (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)
What ML said.
This has come out very well.
Nice paint job. For some reason it reminds me PC McGarry number 452 the Trumpton apocalyptic years
