And it looks remarkably like my posts on here!

Expect a period of activity, followed by months of dust gathering... :d
Well done, Will, for taking such a big step forward (mind you, although size isn't everything - unless you are Orcs or Fiercekitty - I do find the font a tad on the wee side for my old eyes). I'll put it on my list for future viewing. :)
I, too, took a big step forward recently by coming out on a matter that has been troubling me for some years now. Happily, all of my friends and family are very supportive but also quite amazed although I don't know why. After all, the signs were there for all to see - the fashion sense, the style of decor, on occasion looking at another man's AARs, etc. But even I was surprised at their reaction. After all, I only said I was gray.
Thanks Westie,
I've managed to improve the size of paragraph 1, the rest is being more stubborn, but I will get it sorted.
Well done mate
Take care
Andy

(Although I'd agree on the font comments as I'm an old, short sighted, git)
I'm an old git too, I do have good eyesight but getting the font correct is a goodie.
Well done, Will.

Blog updated
https://madlemmey.blogspot.co.uk/
Ouch! ;D
Sounds like a fun game (if you are an elf!). :d
Oh well, just had a look at setting up a blog - apart from (again!) everyone on the interweb assuming you know what the gobbledygook they're talking about means, it seems to me to be an enormous amount of faff that will seriously eat into my painting and playing time. If one day I can no longer post pictures, then I'll no longer post pictures and not worry about it. Seemed to manage that way for the first 55 years of my life.
Basically, yes!
So not very encouraging for the non-tech savvy then. Funny how some sites, like Honours of War, enable you to download photos directly from your computer with no need to host elsewhere. If everyone did that the problem would be solved.

It's fine if the company has money to pay for the additional storage to hold the image files but it's a cost not every company can justify.
Another update and a few extra images in the Dragon men page

I had the same problem trying to set up our wireless printer, last year, Andy.
The pretty little light telling you it was connected to the wi-fi lit up.....But would the sod work ?
I ended up buying a long lead to plug it into a USB port.
I have a love/hate relationship with my PC.
I couldn't do without it now...But it drives me completely mental a lot of the time.
We managed to set up the new lap-dog (sic) for Von.....Now we've got to transfer the files from the old hard drive. (Which shouldn't be too difficult)
Of course....I know what will happen next. Windows ****ing 10 won't be able to open them.
Cheers - Phil.
Have now spent approx 6 hours trying to get this £50 worth of junk trying to work. I also find the help sites useless because they are written for people who have an intimate knowledge of computers - so about as helpful as a chocolate teapot for people like me. What is most annoying is that I have four sets of rules and charts waiting to be printed. >:(
Been up since 5 faffing around with this. Have given up and will get an expert in. Might cost me nearly as much as the bloody printer but can't deal with downloads without one.
Had a sudden spark! If the wireless won't work then try connecting with a USB cable. Three minutes later and it's printing. Thanks for not putting that on the help site HP!

Eek! 😬

Bog off, the lot of you ! :P ;D ;D ;D ;D

Inspired by Techno's brilliance with the USB cable, I followed his advice about a power extension ...

"It's the volts what jolts...
But it's the mills what kills!" :)
I've crawled about on some relatively fragile racking, over 500 amp 'buzz-bars'.....Running a cable from one side to the other.
"Am I really allowed to do this ?" I queried my colleagues in the exchange..."This racking isn't particularly strong."
"No.....But you're the lightest by far...Get it done quick before anyone spots you."
Needless to say, I didn't come into contact with the buzz-bars......unlike a screwdriver that allegedly fell between the bars when the exchange was being 'wired up'.
It hit the floor from about 15 feet up, and landed as a hot lump of melted metal and plastic. (Apparently.) :-\

Worked on a job with, amongst others, a sparks who was doing a major rewiring job on a very large building.
It involved working on stuff behind a pair of very large bus bars. We identified the risk and so the power to the bus bars was turned off, the work completed, power restored ... and then the guy realised he'd left a screwdriver behind and without thinking reached between the bus bars to pick it up.
Fortunately I was neither lead Project Manager nor on site at the time and so didn't need to attend the inquest :-(
Be safe people.
Well.....I've learned something today.
I always 'heard' my colleagues referring to them as 'buzz' bars.....But Mike's absolutely right......Bus...Not Buzz. :)

Snow day musings https://madlemmey.blogspot.co.uk/2017/12/on-army-building-musings-of-chairman.html
Interesting thoughts Will.
It reminds me I really must dig out my Pendraken Sassanids to try out with Sword and Spear. I put the army together before Clib sculpted the superb Late Romans, so the Cataphracts are from another manufacturer-that-shall-not-be-named. I used them a lot with Warmaster Ancients, back in the day. My regular opponent for WMA had Early Imperial Romans, which meant games tended to be draws. The EIR self-supporting legionaries were pretty unbeatable in WMA, especially if the got in a good defensive position on a hill. So my cavalry would just bounce off his wall of legionaries, who sat on the hill whilst I went around and killed everything else in his army, which was never enough to break the Romans.
I found it more than a tad frustrating, so as soon as Clib's great Late Romans were released, I build a matching opponent for the Sassanids. Unfortunately that was about when WMA fell out of use at Tring and they only had one game before going to the back of the cupboard and not seeing the light of day since!
and that sounds like a great reason to break them out sir! ;)
(Blog edited to make sense)
First, I was pleased to see you have the same academic credentials as Capt. John Charity Spring, a literary favorite.
I know you listen to music (OK - I THINK I know) when you paint but do you talk out loud as well?
Have you considered pitting your Romans against the Martians (the red planet ones)? It been done but without seriousness.
Ral Partha high elves never worked for me, ever. They spent to much time preening and admiring each other's hair.
I liked your blog post - it was invigorating. :)
