Title: ELM36 Mounted 14th Cent. Knights
Post by: Raider4 on 16 June 2017, 06:20:46 PM
So, are these an older style armour than ELM1, or later?

Anyone have a pic of these?

Thanks, Martyn

ELM 1 are late C15th/very early C16th so Elm 36 will be at least 100 years earlier, probably pig-faced bascinet and tunic/tabard over the body armour.

Hmm, so maybe closer to EMM1 then? Could ELM36 & EMM1 be reasonably mixed together, to provide some variety in figures & poses, do you think?

Thanks, Martyn

As a very, very rough guide I'd say EMM1 is around 1250AD, ELM36 is 1350AD and ELM1 is 1450AD - give or take half a century :)

That's very helpful, thanks.

If you are looking for variety for EMM1 you might want to consider Irregular's 10mm Crusader figures or Old Glory UK's Grand scale 10mm Crusaders.
