I see Ian at Irregular has belatedly added a tilt to his Open Blitz lorry - perhaps he was inspired by my scratch build attempts ? ;D
The Opel without a tilt is also available.
A tilt makes a lorry useful on the table as its load of troops are hidden. - and you can play games like deploying a troop of empty or half full lorries to a flank or area as a bluff. I always get suspicious of lorries/APCs who infantry don't debuss.
Can we lobby for a tilt on MDV22 - the Zil 151??
Misread that thread title! ;)
No, not just you... =)
Yes really not the only one! ;D ;D ;D
You smut obsessed oiks.
(I didn't misread it. :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o)
Shall we all get our own coats ?
Cheers - Phil
As a Yank - doubly confused! Thought it dealt with some relationship to the perpendicular. Oh wait - dang! - and did I say "Yank"!? :o
Does this actually have something to do about adding a trailer?
Nope, a canvas top cover.
A few right tilts on this forum! ;D
Canvas tilt. What do they call them on the sinister side of the Atlantic?

I don't get out much - possible somewhere in the States they are called "tilts". Around here we call them "tarps" or "covers". Old timers (80+) some times call them "bonnets" which may add to the confusion.
We call them the 'basje' in dialect with a 'j' like in 'Japan' :P
There you are- Pendraken Forum does more to educate men of a certain age than Open University :o
Or Heidi Fleiss, apparently.
Incidently, I think by now Sunray has earned a tilt on at least the MVD22 :)
