Many years ago there was a quite comprehensive series of 5 articles in Military Modelling about ECW era Flags and Standards.
With the authors agreement, these have recently been made available as a 37 page PDF download at the BCW site covering Royalist, Parlimentary and New Model Army forces plus both sides of the Scottish forces:

I had them when they first came out, then lost some of them in a move, cut out the remainder when I downsized my magazine collection. Excellent find, now have digital copies as well.

Yep very nice find. its a period on my list but i can't start anything else until i got rid of the backlog
