OK, you have a nice line of figures there. The wikipedia article allows some temptation. Please recommend a nice, meaty book on the war.
And that's the 19th Century one, not Japs, Marines and atolls.
We used 'Uniformes de la Guerra del Pacifico' when we designed the range, but it was a Spanish version. I think it is being/has been translated to English, but I'm not sure if it's available yet. It's printed by Partizan Press, and sold through Caliver Books. Here's the info: http://www.caliverbooks.com/Partizan%20Press/partizan_PacificEng.shtml (http://www.caliverbooks.com/Partizan%20Press/partizan_PacificEng.shtml), but it's listed as 'Out of Stock' on the Caliver site.
At Partizan in May Dave at Calvlier said he was getting it translated, not sure if he has yet. I am waiting for the book before i think about buying the figures.
Andean Tragedy, can't remember authors name.
Check this site out, which is very good. There is a brief article on the war about half way down the page. It has a small reading list at the bottom of the article.
