Hi Guys,
Its, been some time since my last post, I put all my Pendraken commission work up on my Blog, FB & YouTube channel.
This week I've been having a go at my own minis for a change. This means that I can try some new techniques (I usually save for larger scale minis) such as glazing & NMMs; cos why should the little guys miss out!
I also produced a my usual Youtube update, but this time included a painting guide showing some of these techniques. If I get a good response on my channel I intend to do more, so please take a look & let me know what you think?
Here's Some eye candy, personally I think i should have gone brighter with the red (artistic insecurity)! Feedback would be great from this community

Leon, what do you think to this standard & is it fair to say that NMMs works with 10mm? I think so! ;)
NMMs?????
NMM - Non-Metalic Metal, all the metallic areas have been painted using regular colours (with no metallic paint) to create the look of metallic. Like you see in artwork, magazines etc.
NMM? Is this a kind of wargaming vegetarianism? :P
(nice paint job, btw)
Extremely nice and definitely up to standard!

Very nice indeed
Take care

Looks great.
About the Sudanese, did I understand correctly that you were painting them for the manufacturer's website?
:-bd =D> :-bd =D>
The red is probably historically accurate, I would have gone brighter ;)
very nice, I quite like the subtle tones.
Very good finish on those figures. I particularly like the shading.

This is correct!
Thanks for all the positive feedback so far guys, I do have another regiment of these to paint, which I will make the red a little brighter on.
Shame that because I really like the faded out look.

They will still have that look (I like the realism), just a tone lighter.
Those are brilliant
Lovely work!
Shameless self publicity aside ;) those are very nice indeed. Like Mollinary the NMM acronym stumped me however, I see what you've done and its very effective.
Absolutely terrific work ! :-bd
Cheers - Phil
Impressive as ever Mickey :)
Cheers

very nice indeed :-bd
Genial!!!! =D> =D> =D> =D>
Typical! Just as I am congratulating MYSELF on my paint jobs something happens to remind me I am but a novice.
Excellent work and I like the use of colours to show metallic sheens.
