Title: Weta Workshop enters the gaming market
Post by: pierre the shy on 27 March 2017, 06:28:27 AM
Saw this item on the local news here in NZ today.

Looks like Weta have crowdfunded their first boardgame.

The game, which can we played with two to four people, is set in the world of giant killer robots. It uses strategic deck-building, dice rolling, and miniatures to battle for salvage rights to the destroyed cities of the future.

Out in December 2017 but no word on price yet.  I have seen their Wingnut 1/32(?) scale WW 1 planes which are very nice indeed, if a bit pricey.

Not really my cup of tea but thought some folks out there might be interested.
